Barry Jason Bailey 58 died on Friday March 30, 2012, in the home of his parents in Olympia with assisted care from hospice.

He was born on September 2, 1953, in Shelton where he spent most of his life.

He graduated from Shelton High School in 1971, attended barber school in Lakewood and barbered in Shelton for many years.  His family shared that his passion was music.  He was an accomplished guitarist and a seven year member of the popular local band call Reunion, which were mostly high school classmates that reconnected at one of their class reunions.  His family said these friendships were a big part of his life and provided the needed loyal support until his passing.

He is survived by his parents, Bernie and Doris Bailey of Olympia; brother Denny Bailey (Leslee); daughters Myra and Monica; grandchildren Morgan, Jake and Riley and nieces DeeDee Horton and Dana VanSlyke.  Memorial services were scheduled for 2-5 pm on Saturday, April 28, at the Hope Chapel located at 421 W. E St. Shelton.  The family suggests donations to Providence Sound Home Care and Hospice at 3432 S. Bay Road N.E.
