Rita Underwood (Barnett)

b. 23 Nov 1945 d. 13 Jul 2006 of cancer according to her husband Jim Barnett. OBITUARY (Mason County Journal): Rita L. Barnett Former Hoodsport resident Rita (Underwood) Barnett died on July 13 at her home in Kent where she lived for the past 17 years. She was 60. She was born on November 23, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Barnett worked as an administrative assistant. She was devoted to her family, and loved to dance and read. Surviving are husband James C. Barnett of Kent; son Shane C. Deyette of Kent; daughters Carina Deyette of Tacoma, Jami J. Barnett of Auburn, and Tiffany K. Barnett of Federal Way; three brothers, one sister, and five grandchildren. No service is planned.
