I had transferred from Sammamish High School in Bellevue my sophomore year, and landed in Mr. Tarrach"s English class during the last period as I recall. I was pretty quiet, but always had good grades, especially in English. However, I was petrified when we all had to give speeches and I decided to give an informational speech on oysters, as I helped out the local oyster farmers, and we harvested and sold our own at the Lilliwaup Store. I recall that there was also a humorous category, but opted for informational. Anyway, as I gave the speech, I brought some oysters and opened the first one up, not realizing that when Idid all of the oyster juice would run all over Mr. Tarrach's desk, with what appeared to be several English papers spread out on the desk. I was a bit embarassed, but the class roared with laughter, as I tried to hem and haw to get my way out of it. I still think I should have received an A, but only got a B I think, cause Mr. Tarrach probably took quite a while to clean up the papers. However, I really enjoyed his class and always thought a lot about him, as he was smart and quite a thespian too! RIP Mr Tarrach
Mr Tarrach was a great teacher and a very brilliant person. It was very clear that he enjoyed what he did and had a particular knack for it. English class had and always will be boring, at least for me. However, I really did enjoy his class and got a lot out of it.

The mark of a good teacher is how much you learn about life, as well as the subject they teach. Mr. T. still influences my life today.

Mr T was my drama teacher. He taught me as much of real life as of the arts. One of the best Nanci And the classes were the funnest.
