Ginger was my playmate when we were little. She lived next door with her sister, Jan. She was too young to die. I shall miss seeing her at the reunions. Joan Bayley

I can't believe that Joan is the only one who remembers the person "Virginia (Ginger) Tuberg". I have been pondering what to write as I can picture Ginger in classes throughout our school years and my memories are fond ones. God bless you Ginger. Keep your spirits up as the rest of us will be joining you soon enough for another great reunion.

Thanks Gary. You humbled me with you comment. Ginger and Joan grew up one block away from me and we played together daily. Ginger was always a beauty and I had a schoolboy crush on her for years. Sorry to lose her way too soon.

So very sorry to hear about Ginger.  I wasn't personal friends with Ginger, but I remember her vividly in all our business classes which Miss Burright taught.  Also, she was working at an insurance company in Olympia in 1980s when I went to work there for a while.  Ginger was a beauiful person and too young.  Condolences to her family and friends.

I was shocked to hear about Ginger Tuberg. She was a very pretty girl. I knew her but not very well. We did party alittle and i knew a few of her friends. She was very quiet, not like me, I was a Class Clown. What is going on , so many of our classmates are passing at such a young age.I send my sympathy to her family.

Please the rest of my class mates take care of yourself. I would like to go some day to a class reunion and see the rest of my friends.

Gary, you are so "on" about the lack of comment on Ginger.  I have thought of her several times since the orginal announcement came out, however....  I remember getting to know her in fifth grade and thought she was the cutest girl in our class.  She introduced us girls to the "bunnie ears" shoes and I wanted a pair so badly.  She remained always so friendly - giving us her beautiful smile.  Peace be with her.

Hello Everyone,

I was so sad to hear about Ginger. As you all said, she was a beauty. My favorite memory is when I spent the night with her when she lived out at Twanoh State Park. Her Dad was the park ranger. We had a lot of fun running around the park. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Rest in Peace Ginger. Until we meet again...Carol

Just today, I re-visited the photo disk of those classmates who attended our 50th class reunion in 2012.  Included, were several nice snapshots of Ginger.

Ginger & I, along with six other classmates, were all in girl scouts together.  Our troop was about as close knit as anyone could be.  We shared many great times, experiences & "sleep-overs".  I'm forever grateful for the friendship that Ginger & I shared.

I too, am saddened by Ginger's passing......and as we look back, memories come to mind for all of us. Kathy mentioned the "Bunny Ears"; a fun memory for me as well.   She will hold a special place in all our hearts .....my sympathy to her family and friends....... d.

Though I didn't know Ginger personally, I am truly saddened by her passing.  I didn't know so many of our classmates have gone.  Live each day to the fullest and enjoy what we still have, be it family, friends, or just the glory of the beautiful planet we live on with the universe as a backdrop.
