Are you a woman??? Is that really a safe thing to ask bigfoot - even if you ARE Steve Austin????

11/14/08 03:20 PM #128

Becky Millard (Pruitt) (1987)

I think every show in the 70's either had bigfoot or wildboy - - wasn't there a wildboy on an episode of Little House on the Prairie???

That Lucan guy was kinda hot, I do have to say.....:) :)

Richard Wade (1989)

Ha!!! Steve I remember it as well!! Did the bigfoot trailer not get copied by Jack Black in Tenacious D Pick of Destiny when he was a little bigfoot? LMAO!! It almost looked the same when he was jumping!!

I credit the caring person I am today to the after school specials.

Becky Millard (Pruitt) (1987)

Was that Beau Bridges?? I agree - those afterschool specials helped me cope during many trials of my life - I still use the principles today....every day....and count my lucky stars that my Dad did not live in a downtown hotel.....

Vicki Ausbrooks (Shaw) (1988)

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember one after-school special that had the bed-wetter in it...and his mom kept hanging the sheets out the window so the WHOLE neighborhood would know...ROFL!!!!!!!!

11/14/08 03:43 PM #134

Becky Millard (Pruitt) (1987)

Well, I hope that all moms across america watched that episode with their children so they could be more sensitive to the feelings of bed wetters.... and to all humanity ;)

Steve Warmack (1987)

Actually... I think that that wasnt an afterschool special, but a movie about the real life childhood of Michael Landon called "the Loneliest Runner"

I was driving to New Orleans with Pat Molz once and threw in a conversation "You can DO it, Duffy Moon" and he said something foul, the basic gist of which was "My goodness, you are reaching back deep for that one"

He is the only person I have run in to who actually remembers the after school special called "The Amazing Cosmic Awareness of Duffy Moon (1976)"

Vicki Ausbrooks (Shaw) (1988)

I say that ALL the time...not joking. My kids are very familiar with the phrase. I can still see Duffy Moon's freckled face.

Vicki Ausbrooks (Shaw) (1988)

Sorry to hear that Michael Landon was the bedwetter whose mother shamed him mercilessly. Who knew?

Never saw "Lucan"...but, yeah, Bec, HE'S HOT!

11/14/08 05:02 PM #139

Vicki Ausbrooks (Shaw) (1988)

Yes...I had a rubberized freakie that came out of the box. I wonder what that would fetch on e-bay?
