Funny that your reading the door.

Are you getting excited about your trip this weekend just because you get some Sonic?

There's a story about that door.  My wife coming from a poor family grew up in some projects with her Mom.  She collected stickers and kept them on her door to her room.  When they were finally able to move out of the projects, the manager made them pay for a new door, so she has had the door for about 35 years.  There are some pretty neat stickers still on the door.

There are some of these stickers on there.  You remember when you used to get a loaf of bread and it would have stickers in them.

I AM SONICUS!!!!

Yep, my wifey thinks I'm all excited about our anniversary, but it's really Sonic and Stingray's that has me jazzed about next month. Also when we're home in November, I'll be living at Sonic. To heck with mom's cooking. Sonic and Catfish N in Dardanelle.

Won money? Cards? Horses? Lottery? Sued someone? Either way congrats. Always happy to hear someone made out. Good weekend. In laws came over on Saturday for mom in laws and nephews birthday. Cooked out drank good beer (Blue Moon) and sister in law made pies (she's a great pastry chef). Beautiful weather yesterday, was able to really clean boat. Hopefully got a few more weekends on the water before we shrink wrap and winterize it.

Depends, at a bar or restaurant when it's on tap I don't. At home in a bottle sometimes I do. Specially if we have some little clemintines. They've got the fall brew coming out soon. I like their seasonal beers too.

Sorry you had to work J-man. We had chocolate meringue and apple pies. The apple was a la mode of course. I like black jack too. Never really won any money at a casino though. If we go to Atlantic City we usually walk in to a casino put a quarter in a slot machine and depending on how well that quarter does usually dictates how quickly we go to Carolina Cuties. ($4 Jack and Cokes) to spend the rest of the trip.

I gave her $50 bucks right off the bat and she played for a while, we had dinner, and she went back to the room.  I was hoping to find a show that we could go to.  I stayed up til 5am playing.  I lose all track of time when I play BJack.  (I didn't want to completely anagram that for obvious reasons.)

Good afternoon everyone.  Good luck on the interviews today Andy.

We had a great time this weekend.  My wife loved every minute of it.  Putting the flowers in the room  and the rose pedals on the bed was a big hit.  I got an A+ for that.

We went to the World of the Pharoh exhibit Saturday at the Art Museum and that was really good.  I think I really out did myself this weekend.

I cut down a tree in my front yard yesterday and that was almost a disaster.  It came close to hitting the house or the power lines, but it fell perfectly.  Although I did break one of my landscape lights, oh well, it could have been a lot worse.

Thanks Trina,

How was the corn maze?  Did you get lost?

RE: Afternoon Croakers & Midnight Tokers
Posted Monday, September 28, 2009 11:59 AM

The corn maze was HUGE. I wish I'd remembered to ask how many acres it was on. WOW! The shape of the maze was a cow with hay bales and an udder! haa I think there was a sun with rays in it too.

My kids had a good time for the most part but my friends kid had a rough time. Some kids just don't get wandering for the fun of it. Her son is one of those kids. He felt that since he couldn't read the map and figure out where we were and that there was not real purpose for being there that it was a waste of time. So, like all 11 yr old boys he cried and threw a fit.

He got upset that my kids were just running thru the thing and he wanted to stop at each junction and look at the map. Decide where we where then make a decision on which way to go. We tried to explain that although that might be fun... it's more fun to get totally lost and then figure the way out.  Anyway, he wasn't a happy camper.

WOW! 2010!!!
