We were there to around 79. The thing I remember most about that store was the huge walk in milk cooler and our Coke machine. It was like this one:

I remember that thing. Man the dude that came up with that musta been seriously doing the shrooms. Yeah , that's good, only my checks would've been filled out with crayolas.

Later, enjoy all the nasal singing. We have U2 in town Thursday nite. Very special. Not going. Didn't want to spend $150 for a ticket. Not even a decent seat.

At the Magic shop in Little Rock they have a ventriloquist dummy of Emmet Kelley (famous Ringling Brothers Clown)  and I had to ask why they would make a ventriloquist dummy of a person wh NEVER SPOKE PUBLICALLY...That would be like having a Marcel Marceau dummy.

I heard a rumor that they are making a STRETCH ARMSTRONG movie...That would be strange I'm sure.

I wonder WHO would play him...Maybe Joe Piscopo.

Yee haw!

Steve Oedekerk Stretching Armstrong

Source:Variety
February 12, 2009

Universal Pictures has set Bruce Almighty screenwriter Steve Oedekerk to write Stretch Armstrong, a superhero comedy based on the Hasbro-owned toy, reports Variety.

Hasbro's Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir will produce "Stretch Armstrong."

The toy, a 13-inch, blond-haired muscled figure whose limbs could be stretched to nearly four feet, was launched by Kenner in the '70s. He had a dog named Fetch Armstrong, and a sibling, Evil X-Ray Wretch Armstrong. Attempts to turn him into a movie stretch back to 1998, when Disney tried to make the film with Danny DeVito and later Jackie Chan.

Hasbro's Goldner reacquired the rights, and Oedekerk is starting from scratch. He has most recently been working on a sequel to Kung Pow: Enter the Fist, writing, directing and starring in the martial-arts spoof.

The studio and Hasbro are also readying movie transformations of Monopoly (a potential Ridley Scott directing vehicle), Candy Land (with Etan Cohen scripting and Kevin Lima directing), and Ouija (being developed by Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes).

Justin, looks like Pollock, cod, or Surmiri.  Pressed and flavored like crab (not really), but still like it.  What insider info do you have on the subject?

Next to milling grain into flour, surimi seafood, a product that is made by deboning and mincing white-fleshed fish, rinsing the meat, and turning it into a paste, is probably one of the oldest value-added food processes developed by humans.

This technique was invented at least 800 years ago in Japan, and the Japanese are still the largest consumers of surimi today. And like many processed foods, it is subject to debate in the United States. In the case of surimi, the controversy surrounds product labeling.

that is about right,  it is not any kind in particular just several mixed together,  and your right it's not bad just some people can't stand knowing its is a mixture of fish and probably not the biggest and best part of the fish!     I need to get up and walk the airplanes but i want a nap

Apparently they need to use bland tasting fish so as not to overpower the flavorings they use.

You know... there is just nothing like watching your 9yr old struggle with cursive writing. His attitude is horrible! I wonder where he gets it from??

I can remember going to the MM after school. Todd would buy me a coke and a candy bar and give me 4 quarters.  After 2 secs I was asking for more quarters. He would just look at me and say no.  2hrs later after his 4 quarters were used up... we'd go home!

WOW! 2010!!!
