Well, I would think they would cast a shadow, but they should have a reflection to if they are physical beings.  I say they do both and the mirror thing is BS.  If I could be any monster, it would definitely be a Vampire though.  So cool!

And dont mix up SHADOW OF THE VAMPIRE  with EMBRACE OF THE VAMPIRE unless you have some serious Alyssa Milano fixations.  I dont even remember there BEING  vampire in that movie...or much of a wardrobe.  Much nudity NSFW, Rated R almost X, Not very good in the plot either.

A werewolf would be cool cause you could still run around like normal most of the time.  I would want to be able to change at will though.  Waiting on a fool moon would draw vacuum.

I think he always looks like he needs to shave. But other than that he seems to be pretty talented and a straight up guy.

As to the vampire shadow/reflection thing:

Lots of modern interpretation of mythology put their own slant on things, look at things logically, a vampire is an undead being in human form who exsanguinates people to stay alive, there are certain aspects of this persona that lend themselves to the no shadow no reflection type vampire, you could explain this by saying that they have no reflection because their life forces have left them and mirrors only reflect the living physical world (the fact that a corpse has a reflection can be explained by the fact the it is dean and not undead and therefore explainable in the living physical world). Perhaps moonlight causes them to have a reflection but as the hunt indoors by candlelight and the moon is not on them then they have no reflection most of the time but if they pass a mirror next to a window then they are briefly reflected as a shadow, spooky eh!

I think if I was picking a monster, based entirely on typical legend, no Twilight crap, I would be a vampire. As a werewolf, traditionally you have no say as to when it happens. Full moon, instant werewolf. And when you are a WW you surrender to your WW instincts and you later have no memory of what happened.

So, I finally got an appointment with the Lynden Academy for the kids. I go in on Monday at 1:30.  It is free for the kids to go and it is designed to assist kids either in public school that need extra help in core subjects (like free tutoring) or for homeschooled kids. Which the lady I talked to said that is the majority of who uses the program.  They ONLY teach math, science, english and writing.  Jake is old enough to go up to 3 times a week. Levi and Andrew can go up to twice a week. The nice part is we can still be part of our co-op on Fridays.  I am also looking for a job... me needs some $$.

Well, I'll be applying at banks, restaurants, grocery stores, whatever. I don't want to work at Walmart but if that is were I end up then so be it.

Hey! Sorry, I  had a phone call and then had to do some history reading with Levi.  My work is never done! sigh.

I have Bellingham and Lynden close by. Both less than 15 mins drive. 

Well, I love to cook. I worked in restaurants for years before I stayed home with the kiddos.  I have also done data entry, retail and I ran the front desk (customer service) and acct for the Jazzerise here in town for nearly 3 years. Until she sold it and the new owner didn't need me for the job.

Mike, I found the beer.  The Stagecoach Liquor store had all the varieties of Diamond Bear.  There is an Oktoberfest seasonal brew due out any day he sd.  I got the IPA and the Pale Ale.  I didn't bring it over cause I didn't want to be a bad influence after working out.  I did drink one beforehand though.
