Mike,  how is ole  Ryan doing, from the pic  he appears to be down on his luck?   I bet it was a fun party! I love adult halloween party's.    Trina dont you just love party pooper's!  Hey it probably kept you out of trouble though! 

Ryan is doing well.  His wife and my wife are like best friends, so we hang out alot. 

Trina do you have any idea what you are going to be for the Halloween party?  This probably wouldnt be warm enough for you would it?

Well, you know if my hair were longer or if I had a wrap (from head to toe) it might be warm enough. Or maybe closed toed shoes... you know if your feet are warm, your warm. 

This might be warm enough though!

now Trina every one knows that metal get's really cold and brittle,  it will not let your skin breath and thus you will be freezing,  the other out fit would let all the heat from the room  keep those few exposed area's warm!  

Justin, very good advice. I'll be sure to keep it in mind while shopping for a costume!

Besides Trina, if you were to wear the "Eve" costume, you would probably be warm from all the guys gathering around you to get a closer look.

Well, honestly, I'd get tired of carrying around that apple. Why do costumes have to be so complicated??

Exactly!!  I'd have to put the apple down... look for my phone.... then try to remember to pick the apple up again!! Total hassle! And that costume would look stupid without that apple.  That's what ties it all together. 

I'm glad we talked this through before I bought something so worthless. 

I guess you could just go as the apple.

We off (again) for our first day at the Lynden Academy. Hopefully, they will enjoy their time there and will want to go back next week!

I don't know if I'm suppose to stay there the whole time or not.  So, I'll be taking the ole' laptop in hopes that I can find a spot and log on.

Well, I'm just popping in again.  Whew...what a week!  Monday, stayed home with baby boy Gilbert with the croup.  Monday night (while I was gone to pick up baby girl Gilbert from daycare and his daddy was outside feeding the dog)  baby boy Gilbert decided to make a reptile "habitat" out of a Pringles can.  While making air holes with a kitchen knife...made a nice air hole in his left hand.  Matt said that it was spurting blood...how Halloween is that?  So I met them at the ER.  Side note:  there is no excuse for lying to your wife.  Matt told me that it was him (Matt) who cut his hand b/c he was afraid if I knew it was Mason I would speed, and it was raining!  Keep in mind, he had walked outside when I was leaving to get Marleigh and had the electric saw in his hand.  Needless to say....his reasoning was honorable....but did no good.  When I got to the ER....and found out the truth....well....good thing we were in public! Yes, he knew this and yes...he's a smart man. Mason's injury was  puncture and the dr. opted not to do stitches, jus the glue. He was lucky and maybe this was a blessing in disguise.  I'm quite sure it won't be our last visit to the ER.

When we got home it looked like a murder scene...you could see blood splattered everywhere! The joys of having a boy!

Oh and now baby girl Gilbert is home today too, she has the croup.  We have a doctor's appt at 2:30.  Woo Hoo!! :) Hope everyone is having a better week!

If you ladies only knew how much we actually lied to you. What a week! Mom said I had the croup for a whole month way back in the year of our Lord 1966. Jaime says that's why I'm a robot now and never cry. I used it all up the 1st few months of my life. I just get misty, then do the man "blink and rub like there's something in my eye". There's no crying in your 40's.

That's becuase I'm using them all up in my 30's!!! :)

PS...we probably know how much we're lied to...we just choose not to address it! :)

Well, I think I'm going as a zombie or something like that. I need warmth! So, I'll do some makeup tricks and maybe go buy some 'blood' or something. The boys seem to be happy with being creative this year. So, I might get out of buying too much. Just a few 'props' to finish things off. We'll head to Wally World later today. Of course, I don't have ripped cloths? Hm, can zombies look dead but dress in nice warm layers?? Haa, my kids could do zombies easily everything they own is ripped! haa

It was cold and wet at the JH patch too....

Trina, you could wear some thermals under those ripped up clothes and you would be warm and still look like a zombie.

Sitting here drinking my coffee and watching the darkness outside.... gonna be a rainy day again I think. Wind is blowing... but it's 55 out so not bad for October.

Mike good idea. I'll have to see what I can come up with. We have co-op today then we are gonna finish up the Halloween shopping (candy included) and race home to do chores and get our SCARE on! Party is at 5:30. Should be fun.

That pic is in the parking lot by where the auto mechanics class used to be...and thats not the worst of it...you should see the pics Katie Fowler Burgner took and posted on her facebook...the road that goes behind the old Midget Market (Mexican restaurant now) looked like the Arkansas River.  I was told the water was over the highway at the bridge heading toward Pine Bluff and Little Creek Road was completely impassible...we even had some cars trapped in parking lots with water up to the windows.

BTW - I'll be back on Monday - going on night shift Monday night.
