Man, I hate weed whacking. I hate it so much that I've mulched all the trees and driveway around my house. Now the only w.w. I have to do is right around the house. I sometimes let that go a few weeks. I would hire it out but sometimes that's the only exercise I get. Man, I can't wait for that pill that gets you in shape. The guy that invents that is gonna be rich. Jaime has an aunt that lives right next door to where John Cusak grew up. I generally like his movies.  One of my favorites is Better Off Dead.  Lotsa good quotables in it.

Good ..... no..... hm..... how about.... I'm here finally.  lol  This chicka is tired!

Got in about 1am this morning. Late nights are catching up with me.  But the coffee is helping some.  I miss AR already! I started missing it before I left the ground.  It was a great 5 days there.

The kids let me sleep in some which was nice. They have been hugging me tons and asking how my party was! Aren't they sweet!  Max missed me too. He attacked me this morning when I got up! haa

School is gonna be on the low down today and prolly for the rest of the week. Mama needs to recoup!

Mike glad to hear your hand is doing well. That's wonderful news.

WOW! 2010!!!

Cool vid about a soldier hit by a roadside bomb that was the only survivor of 4 in the vehicle.  He was in a coma with not much chance for surviving.  General Petraeus came by to see him and there was no response, but before he was about to leave, he decided to try one more thing.  He shouted CURRAHEE! (The regimen's name) After three weeks of no response to family, he sat up in the bed (as best he could). He steadily got better and learned to walk again on his 2 prosthetic legs. CURRAHEE is a Cherokee word meaning "stand alone".

Trina, glad to hear you are home safely and that school can be postponed to recover from a bender. LOL!

How nice was it to sleep in your own bed though?  I know you mentioned it was difficult to be confortable in a strange place.

It was good. I think it will still take some getting adjusted.  Getting back into routine and all.

By the way first class was awesome! Big seats, free drinks, free movie, much better food and lots of leg room.  I slept from AR to Houston. I don't think I even opened my eyes once.

I still have to unpack and all that stuff.

There's a Mount Currahee in Georgia, named as you say for the Indian phrase, it's where the former Camp Toccoa that paratroopers were trained in ww2. They had to run up a road on the mountain.  For motivation they would shout Currahee kinda like marines say uhhrah. They would also say 3 miles up 3 miles down. This soldier must be a paratrooper or a fan of the mini series Band of Brothers , because they still use the phrase Currahee for motivation. Very cool that did it for him.

You need to try and find the video.  It was from that Sunday morning show that has a picture of a sun before and after every break.

Lt. Brian Brennen was his name and I don't know about the spelling.

well I DO have a plan

Step 1 - get our stuff into storage...starting in the morning

Step 2 - find a place to live - also in the morning - we have a friend who is going to let us stay in their camper until we get on our feet

Step 3 - find a job - thats where things get a little tricky, but at least I should be able to file for unemployment while I look.

Step 4 - Live happily ever after  - what the heck is this a DISNEY movie?

Yee haw!

Easily one of the most quotable movies. Everyone is very funny. I don't think they really had a script either. Just kind of a guideline.
