Vincent Warren Beamish, 30, died March 21, 2001. He died in a head-on collision outside of Fernley. He was born June 12, 1970, to William and Betty (Davis) Beamish. He was a 1990 graduate of Sheridan High School.

Mr. Beamish was with RTP Company in Dayton [NV] for 3 and 1/2 years and with Amazon.com in Fernley. He was a member of the Dayton Volunteer Fire Department and active member baptized ot the River of Life Church of Dayton.

Surviving are mother, Betty Davis of Sheridan, Wy; Father and stepmother, William and Mary Beamish of Monroe, WA; grandmother, Gladys Beamish of Shadron, NE; sister Becky Oatts; brother Mark Beamish; 2 aunts, 2 uncles and numerous cousins.

A memorial services will be held 10:00 am, March 31, 20001 at Calvary Baptist Church, NW corner Flowery Ave. and Hwy. 50, Dayton. The remains are being sent back to Sheridan, WY for burial.

Former Sheridan resident Vincent W. Beamish, 30, of Dayton, Nev., died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, in an auto accident.
 
Viewing will be at Champion Ferries Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today and on Tuesday until time of service.  Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Champion Ferries Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Barber officiating.  Interment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
 
Mr. Beamish was born June 12, 1970, in Chadron, Neb., to William and Betty Lou (Davis) Beamish.  The family moved to Sturgis, S.D., then to Sheridan in 1982.

Mr. Beamish graduated from Sheridan High School where he was active in Drama Club and won a tournament in ninjitsu.

He was a former employee of RENEW and Hardee's Restaurant.

He moved to Dayton, Nev., in 1997 and worked at RTP, a plastics factory.  He also was working part time for Amazon.com.

He enjoyed rafting, bungee-jumping, cooking, music, and attending concerts.  He was a member of the Dayton (Nev.) Volunteer Fire Department and attended the River of Life Church.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Davis of Sheridan; father and stepmother, William and Mary Beamish of Monroe, Wash.; a brother, Mark, and sister, Becky Oatts, both of Sheridan; a grandmother, Gladys Beamish of Chadron; several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.
