I was so proud of David's business success. I also am a little sad that he was so successful. He might not have been able to afford such a dangerous hobby as aerobatic flying competitions. I know I am selfish because he died doing something he loved. I would like to see his smiling face again though.
I miss him alot. You can describe David in so many ways. He was kind, generous, loyal, a great dad and he loved his family so much. I brought up loyalty because he would come all the way to Austin to purchase his BMWs from me and not because I could save him money. It was because we were friends from Piner and SHS and that meant something to him and because of that I was able to get to know his two beautiful and loving daughters which would make any father proud. I continue to look up in the sky everytime I hear a plane and think of him. I thought about the last reunion cruising around in David's military tanks and wish we could do it again.

David was a solid guy -- genuinely kind and caring. He left us too soon!
