Lori Miller (Hutchings)

I have so many good memories of Tina throughout high school.  She always had a huge smile on her face and a mischievous twinkle in her eye.  She was an amazing athlete, and excelled in every sport she attempted.  She played them all - volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer, hockey...she was a great teammate, always making grueling practices & highly competetive tournaments about having fun.

After high school, she pursued hockey and was successful to a level most females in hockey at that time never had an opportunity to achieve.  She played for the Edmonton Chimos for years.  In 1994, she was invited to Team Canada's National Selection Camp and was one of their very last cuts.  She also represented Canada in 1996 at the U.S. Olympic Festival on the Select National Team. Some of her team mates included well known names in womens hockey such as Haley Wickenheiser & Judy Diduck.  She was part of an elite level in Canada.

Unfortunately, Tina passed away in 2000.  I think about her lots and often remember some of her silly shenanigans.  I miss you lots my friend...
