MOUNT UPTON — Paul L. Clark, 65, of Mount Upton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 3, 2014, at Albany Medical Center, Albany.

Paul was born on Aug. 11, 1948, son of the late Llewellyn and Pauline (Ostrander) Clark in Sidney.

He was a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Darleen L. Clark; children, Teresa and William Jordan, Stacy Lum, Luanne (Clark) Durantini and Ronda (Clark) and Darin Riegel; grandchildren, Heather Owen, Corey Babcock, Cameron Lum, Nicole Lum, Erica Cotten, Allysa Cotten, Shane Durantini, Kurt Riegel, Corrine Riegel; great-grandchildren, Mya Ramos, Chellsie Babcock and Tessa Babcock; brothers, Walter Clark and Steve Clark; sister, Loretta Wilber; beloved pet, Odie; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paul enjoyed golf, playing cards with his friends, traveling and bowling. He liked country music, especially the Lum Brothers. He enjoyed the outdoors with activities like boating, hunting and trap shooting.

He loved his children and grandchildren and loved to bring them around his friends to show them off. They were his pride and joy. Paul also loved his great-nieces and nephews and loved to brag about Sophie, Eric, Brooke and Megan as if they were his own.

Friends are invited to call 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Fred Albrecht officiating.

Burial will take place in the spring in Maplewood Cemetery, Mount Upton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Sidney Elks Lodge, 104 River St., Sidney, NY 13838.
