Sidney High School
Class of 1966
ANNOUNCEMENTS

Got an email from Dave Davis saying he has also written a book. He calls it a coming of age story covering the years 1955-1070. The setting is a town much like Sidney but purely fictional so you won't see your self in print. He says he wanted to make some sense to the crazy period of our lives. The name of the book is Thom and Deweyy's Walkabout. He says it is written up on Amazon Direct Publishing.

To the Sidney High School Class of 1966

Dear Fellow Classmates:

How honored and humbled I was to have been selected for the Wall of Fame at the past 2023 Reunion Weekend. I accepted this recognition on behalf of the entire Sidney High School Class of 1966.

As I mentioned in my acceptance speech, we all lived 2,400 days of our formative years together, and I believe without a doubt what we all experienced together through those years helped shape me into what I
became, and I thank each and every one of you for your friendship, fellowship and experiences we shared. When we were all young, we thought we were invincible and that we would live forever, but we
soon learned that we would not be young forever, and one morning we woke up to our 75 Birthday! Where did those years go? Although those younger years of our lives are behind us, I have great memories of my days in the Sidney School System, as I’m sure you do, too.

In closing, let me share one final comment that I made in my acceptance speech: The Class of 66 was the best Class in the
history of the Sidney High School!!!. I truly believe that and am honored I was a member of that Class.

All the best to everyone now and always.
