EDDIE D. BRIGGS, age 66 of Sidney, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 6:52 PM at Miami Valley Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. Visitation will be on Friday, September 29th from 12:00 PM until the time of service.

Eddie, you were a kind and gentle soul. We were good friends, beginning in home room. Breece and Briggs. Sat by each other through many classes, even graduation. I didn't know life had been a struggle for you. I wish I'd known more about your life. I hope that someone who knew you will contact me to talk about how your life unfolded. You were loved, Eddie. I will miss our brief meetings usually on the court square when I was home for a visit, always a kind word and I always loved them. We were friends as young kids growing up and played basketball together at the terrace many nights back in those days. You are now in your new happy home and as you always said as I walked away, God Bless.
