Maxine E. Foster Stratford, 58, 10041 Stangel Road, Sidney, passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, at 6:58 p.m. at her home.

She was born on Feb. 13, 1957, in Sidney, the daughter of the late Ralph E. and Joann D. (Cooper) Carr.

Maxine married John W. Foster on April 11, 1975. He preceded her in death, March 22, 2007. Surviving are their two sons, Randy (Staci) Foster, of Sidney, and David (Tiffany) Foster, of Botkins; grandchildren, Chase, Luke, Jay, Destiny, Romeo and Jordan; and one brother, Lewis (Mary) Carr, of Houston. She was reunited in marriage on Aug. 16, 2010, to Michael P. Stratford, who survives. She was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Ann Carr.

Maxine loved animals and enjoyed watching birds and hanging bird houses. She also enjoyed taking trips with family and friends on their Harley Davidsons. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with Chaplain Harry Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the American Stroke and American Heart associations in Maxine's memory.
