DARRELL EUGENE CLOSE, 58, of 119 W. Clay St, Sidney, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at 11:06 A.M. at his residence. He was born on February 14, 1957 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Andrew Close of Sidney, and the late Arnie (Ross) Close.

He is survived by two children, Daniel and Chris Close, one sister, Diana (Mark) Caulfield, and one brother, Marvin Close all of Sidney. He was preceded in death by one brother, David Close.

Mr. Close worked for 30 years at Copeland Corporation, and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Sidney.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 300 W. Mason Rd, Sidney, with Pastor Kenneth Castor officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.
