After graduation from college I lived in Indianapolis for two years. In 1981 I relocated to Kansas City, MO and remained in that area until my retirement in 2015. I moved to Crossville, TN. In 2018 I was back in Missouri (Columbia) to care for my first grandchild.
How long have you been in your current position and what is your position?
I worked 20 years in Corrections (case manager, parole officer and pre-sentence investigator). The last 16 years of my career was as a school social worker for the Independence, MO School District. I have been retired since 2015.
I am currently living in Columbia, MO. I love being close to my daughters and grandchildren, BUT, I would still like to live by a beach for at least a few years! It is hard to move from the kids. Meanwhile, I have to be content with traveling there when I can.
I love the reunion every time! BUT...my memory sucks! So if I don’t remember your name or a time we shared some fun, don’t be offended. We can make some new memories! (That all is still true! Except the memory may be worse)
Since the last reunion I have taken care of a farm and watched the grand babies grow into little boys and a little girl…two in school this year! All that with lots of fun (and funny) stories.
My hobby is making quilts. My last few have turned out pretty good! (I don’t use a pattern. I just make them up.)
