I thought it was a great venue. The appetizers, photo booth, and cash bar were perfect. I like the photo name tags we had at one of the past reunions.

Don't know this for sure, but it seems that a higher percentage of those of us from out of town attend than people living in Sidney. Have a lot of people still living there that I'd love to see. I have no ideas how to try to market the reunions to them.

It would be great to have better response to the committee requests for RSVPs and information. I am not sure how that can best be accomplished as I know the Committee keeps track of known addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. Perhaps a contact tree might be used where a classmate who knows certain others, follows up to see if they are coming. I tried to do that abd had some success.

More people to attend before it is to late as the placards with the deceased took my breath away.

I like the idea of a sit down meal, even if it costs more. In 4 years, more of us may have more mobility issues - just saying :)
Might be nice to have afternoon "breakout sessions" for smaller get togethers. Especially give those of us from out of state a way to connect with more people in smaller groups.

The Oaks club was a nice place to have especially with the COVID concerns that people might have had. The facility has room for inside and outside social gathering and Rob has a first class staff. Like to see the 50th reunion there for hopefully a larger turn out.

I like the way that you had the reunion later in the evening so that we could go out to eat with others.

Enjoyed the Friday night event, gave us a chance to get reacquainted with classmates. The Saturday event was wonderful, well planned, great venue. I think the appetizers and desserts are a great way to go. I heard several mention they went to an old favorite place for dinner before reunion.

If possible, could the organizers help with negotiated rates at a local hotel(s) for out-of- town guests?
Would it be possible to have the informal gathering on Thursday night to allow for Friday to be a "hey, let's go grab dinner" night, with people you caught up with the night before? Then the main event would still be Saturday.
I still think an event with the classes of '74.'75 and '76 has merit as we all were pretty close ...just a thought

Liked the DJ, pic booth, bar, pie. Thought the appetizers could have been heavier and a little more diversity. Taco bar?
Friday, would have been nice to bring out some pizzas, cover charge would be ok to cover cost.
Time set for both was great.

I love these reunions and always try to attend. I very much appreciate the work classmates on the committees do to put them together. While we had a number of people missing I think everyone there had a great time.
I do think COVID situation and political climate right now had an impact on turnout.
Re; my response below on sit down dinner, I am fine with whatever is selected. For me it is all about the visiting. I am sensitive to the finances of our classmates.
I know some have talked about a destination reunion which is fine with me too though I don’t want people not to attend because of costs.

I wasn't able to attend this time but I did attend the 40th. From the pictures I saw posted it looks like the event space was larger and nicer. I suggest we have it there again.

I enjoyed communicating with so many I haven't seen in awhile. I would like to see reprinted name tags in lieu of our hand written ones, many were hard to read.
Maybe more contest/awards. It was interesting what you did for Gary. Maybe expand on that.

I wish I had paid more attention to the photo booth and grabbed some classmates to get some fun photos. No one’s fault but my own for gabbing too much..lol. I love that the organizers scheduled this feature. And the strawberry pie was so special for those of us who live in other states and rarely get it. Yum! Thank you!
