I knew Bill through Four Corners Elementary School, Sligo, Northwood, and the University of Maryland. He was my accountant from 1985 until his death by heart failure in February, 2005.

I took a course in Small Business when I lived in Dallas, TX. The most important thing I learned was, first find a good accountant, and second find a good lawyer. I moved back to the DC area in 1985 and started my own business. I told my wife, I knew this guy Bill, and he was always meticulous and smart.I should know, having graded his papers sometimes in elementary school. Thus I asked him to be my accountant.

I loved Bill and I miss him alot. I saw Ron Bergeron, Ron Reed, Melanie Strachan, and (the late) Gary pregi at The Corner Pub after the viewing. We tilted a few to his memory. We all miss him. I loved him because he always laughed at my jokes.

Billy Georgeson was a really good friend of mine back in our early days at Four Corners Elementary School, and then into our Sligo and Northwood days. We used to get a bunch of guys together and play tackle football on that small field at the corner of Dennis Avenue and Marvin Road…some of you will know exactly where I mean. In the summer, we'd go up to the Rec. Center and play baseball…Billy was a huge baseball fan and a heck of a shortstop. His father was the coach of Packett's Pharmacy and Billy was on that team for years. We used to ride bikes everywhere…I remember riding our bikes on the beltway before it was opened up to cars. Billy was the first friend I knew who had a job, pumping gas, and the first to have his own car. As we grew older, our afterschool schedules took us in different directions and we didn't see each other as often, but he was always there to offer a ride home in that little red VW bug of his. I knew Billy was a CPA and was doing well with his own accounting firm, but it was a big surprise when his younger brother, J.D. Georgeson, tracked me down to say that Billy had passed away. Billy was a good guy and a really good childhood friend of mine!

Billy was always a good friend in elementary school and I remember the fun we had together like it was yesterday. I remember visiting Bill's office in Bethesda many times throughout the years to find him working all the time. To a great guy, he will not be forgotten.

William Georgeson and I became friends I believe during our senior year at Northwood.  May he rest in peace.

Billy was my classmate at Four Corners and later at Sligo and Northwood.  He was such a kind, considerate and sympathetic person that I always felt that we were still friends on the rare occasions I saw him after high school.  His big smile and gentle manner were his trademarks.  He will surely be missed very much by a lot of people.
