I too am sorry to hear about Stuart. We attended the same elementary school and of course all the girls thought he was cool and cute. I remember him as being smart, a good student, a leader and a nice guy

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Stuart Plitman. He was my first boyfriend for about a minute, in 8th grade at Sligo Jr. High, till he took back the ring and moved on to greener pastures. I remember him as a really nice, smart, handsome guy, and I extend my sympathies to his family and friends.

I will always remember Stuart as the fastest swimmer at our Wheaton Haven pool. I watched him win many swim meets. He will be greatly missed.

I was the worst swimmer on the Wheaton Haven team, but it was worth the humiliation and those chilly, early-morning practices just to watch Stuart glide across the pool in his Speedo. At Sligo, Stuart stood out as a man in our midst -- a sweet and gentle man. Sharon, you are so lucky you got to be his girlfriend, even for a minute! Rest in peace, Stuart. A lot of people are thinking about you.

Very sorry to hear of Stuart's passing.

On Jan. 24, 1969, Springbrook's highly ranked boys basketball team was scheduled to play at Northwood.  It was our junior year.  I was home that evening, sick as a dog with the flu and unable to play.  Stuart replaced me, and by all accounts, he played the game of his life, as Northwood routed Springbrook, 90-75.  I know this because after the game, the team came to my home and presented me with a brand new game ball, with the date and score written on it.  I didn't score a point, wasn't even at the game, but I got the game ball, which I still have today.  I've thought about that ball many times.  I haven't seen Stuart in decades, and I don't know whether he also got a game ball that night.  If I ever had the chance, I was planning on giving him the one I have...he deserved it!

On the eve of our 50 year reunion; fond memories of the way we knew you:

Unsung as high scorer...and deserving of Ronnie's complement.
