Oh, no! June Roland was a great, powerful energy source in our 10th grade Latin 2 class! I didn't know her personally, but she was at such a high "live wire" intensity level that I couldn't help but know her opinions, tastes, and just overall liveliness. This is a real shock, to find such a live wire no longer with us. -- Don Riggs
I was shocked to see June's name on the memory list. I just went through a lot of Red & Black (Northwood school newspaper) materials to send to the reunion committee and it brought back memories of June as editor--a great colleague even at that high school level. It's sad that someone with her qualities was lost so soon.
June was a very good friend of mine. I remember June as a vibrant and energetic soul with a gift for writing. Most of all I remember her for the precious time that we spent together as good friends. I was shocked to see her picture on the "Memory Wall". I felt a great loss.
