In Memory

Nancy Faye Hollander

Nancy died 1/2007.

Nancy Faye Hollander died in Sydney, Australia, on Jan. 2, 2007.

She is survived by her sister Adele Hollander and Jeff Bolman, her wonderful partner of 10 years.

Considered an amazing friend by many who knew her on Kaua‘i and across the world, she was a talented painter, photographer, artist, film director, dancer and life crafter with a contagious enthusiasm.

A ceremony will be held at her residence on Sunday, March 11, at 10 a.m. at 57062 Kuhio Highway in Ha‘ena. Look for a sign on the right after the double bridge, three driveways before Hanalei Colony Resort.

Friends and family are asked to bring food or drink to share, leis or flowers, wear happy clothes and a big smile to help keep her memory and beautiful smile in their hearts as they rejoice with Nancy’s presence by the ocean.

Nancy and a number of other Blairites attended Parkside Elementary School, off of Sligo Creek Parkway.  She was a very bright student.  At Blair she starred in the show 'Pajama Game.'

Nancy and I were like sisters growing up and our parents were good friends too.  I am greatly saddened to hear of her passing.  May she rest in peace.  Jan Klingebiel (Griffin)
