I am sorry to learn of Frances' passing.  She was friendly, easy to talk with, and had a gentle, intelligent wit.

She was good friends, I believe, with Peter Isikoff.  We were neighbors in Silver Spring.  I remember they both had a great sense of composure and self-awareness to them.
