Bruce Troutman, 64 years of Peebles, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Waynesville, North Carolina on August 4, 1947 the son of the late Harold Troutman. Bruceattended the Grace Fellowship Church; he was the Chief of Police in Manchester, a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and a member of the N.R.A. He is survived by his mother, Liz (Bradley) Troutman of West Union, his wife, Christine (Lovett) Troutman of Peebles, whom he married on October 31, 1987, three sons and daughters-in-law; Brian and Christine Murphy of Milford, Jeffrey and Shellie Murphy of Incirlik, Turkey, and Shane Troutman of Frederick, Maryland, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
