Doug and I were very close friends, having first met in Mr. Marder's biology class our sophmore year. We shared a love of music and bad jokes. Senior year we used to skip Mr. Dobbler's earth science class and ride in Doug's Austin Healy Bugeye Sprite to the Little Taven on Georgia Ave.

I really didn't know Doug very well at Blair, rarely speaking to him in high school.  After high school, I came to know him fairly well, and I can honestly say that he was one of the nicest and most intelligent people that I ever had the honor to know. Regrets are never good, but I must say that I wish I had been able to spend more time with him over the years. I will always have fond memories of him, just as I'm certain that all will have wonderful memories of him.
