I'm so saddened to learn, and so many years after the fact, that Brad died so young. When we were juniors, I was invited to join Brad and a group of friends for regular weekend parties. These were really quiet affairs, among seven or eight of us. At that age, I felt shy and socially awkward. Brad was very popular, and, when I was 16, or so, I felt touched to have been invited to be part of this social group. Brad helped me come into my own. I will always remember Brad for his grace, wit, charm, and good heart.
