SATURDAY NIGHT MAIN EVENT (6-11)
The 55 year celebration party on Saturday night (6 - 11) at the Hotel Silver Spring (formerly the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and formerly the Sheraton) in downtown Silver Spring (8727 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, MD 20910) includes cocktail hour (cash bar with displays of vegetables, cheeses, and fruits), seated buffet dinner (baked salmon, chicken, salad, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, iced tea and lemonade, dinner rolls and butter, and dessert), and listening and dancing to the 60's music provided by our own Jim Nalley. Attire is dressy casual, however you may interpret that. Registration is from the website under 55th Reunion Events and Registration at the top of the left hand column.
The cost is $117 per person, however, there is a $7 discount if you pay by check or Zelle , i.e. registration is $110 per person. If you pay by check or Zelle, you will receive an email invoice for $110. If you want to pay via check or Zelle, select "check by mail" when you register, and you will receive an email invoice for $110. Once your check or Zelle payment is received and clears, you will receive an email receipt. Zelle payments may be made to nathan.joel@gmail.com.
Valet parking for the event is $15.

YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE FOR THIS EVENT BY SEPTEMBER 23. THERE WILL BE NO PAYMENT AT THE DOOR ALLOWED.

FRIDAY NIGHT RECONNECTION AT 7:00
On Friday night, we will kick off the weekend with an informal get together of old friends at the 4 Corners Pub across the street from the new school campus on University Blvd (10111 Sutherland Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20901). Free pizza will be provided, but drinks will be pay as you go. If you are interested in attending, please fill out the survey form from the website under 55th Reunion Friday Evening Meet & Greet.
SUNDAY FAREWELL BRUNCH (10:30 - 12:30)
On Sunday morning, we will conclude this amazing weekend with an all included brunch, at McGinty's Public House in downtown Silver Spring (911 Ellsworth Dr, Silver Spring, MD 20910). The cost will be $20 per person plus tax and gratuity (cash payment only). The brunch will be an Irish Buffet that includes, Irish bacon, sausage, home fries, black and white pudding, grilled tomatoes, scrambled eggs, baked beans, and gravy. FRIDAY MORNING GOLF OUTING
There will be a golf outing on Friday at the Northwest Branch Golf Course on Layhill Rd in Silver Spring. Fees will be approximately $77 per person with approximate tee times between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. Interested participants should fill out the survey form from the website under 55th Reunion Golf Outing.
SATURDAY MORNING TOUR OF OLD AND NEW BLAIRS
Join your classmates for a tour of the orginal Blair campus you've known and loved. The school has been subdivided into a middle school and an elementary school. And then come to Four Corners to visit the new location of our school, which was completed in 2000. No need to register for this event - just show up at the old Blair and start enjoying. The old Blair tour will begin at 10.30 followed by the new Blair tour at noon.
OUT OF TOWN CLASSMATES
A block of discounted rooms are now available at the Hotel Silver Spring for Thursday night through Sunday night at the rate of $139/night plus 13% tax (valet overnight parking is $20/night).
