Eric Schreck

ERIC ROBERT SCHRECK, 23, of Silverdale, Wash., formerly of EATONTOWN, passed away Monday, Oct. 9 (2006), at Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield, Mass. He was a student at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA), majoring in Fine and Performance Arts Management. He loved theater and dance and being on stage. Born March 4, 1983, in Calais, Maine, Eric was raised in Silverdale, Wash., where he graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 2001. He was a seaman apprentice in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves. He attended MCLA, starting in 2002 and in 2005 attended one semester at the Disney College Program in Orlando, Fla., as an aquatic rescue professional. From December 2005 to September 2006, Eric resided in Eatontown. He was employed by PNC Bank, Wyckoff Road. A self-described "Professional Life Experiencer," Eric had a passion for restoring classic wooden sailboats. He loved fishing, photography, books, walking on the beach, and anything to do with pirates. Eric made many friends in our area and will be greatly missed.
