Jim,

Are you giving lessons? I used to be able to play somewhat decent. Last year my game was sucking terribly though, and I'm afraid of what it will be like this year . If there was a clinic before everyone teed off, I may show up. Could you look into that and get it scheduled? j/k ;-O

Lee harvey,

If I can make it back, I'll play with you and John.

Jim Tritz

Steve-O....if you can make it back????? Are you kidding me??? Cherokee is coming all the way from fricken Hell's Kitchen Virginia or something like that. Greg Derner's coming from Germany. You live in Omaha...what gives? Are you anticipating a broken down car? I'll have my daughter give you a ride up here. Of course, maybe you drive about as fast as your slow hanging curve ball in high school and in that case it might take a few days to get here.

I am in on the golf. I get my ass kicked by Tritz every summer anyway. I think some fresh meat would be good for the old boy. Mr. Olson, get your ass back for the reunion. I can pick you up on my way back. You would have to ride with four females however. That can put any man on his knees.

In the famous words of that great american Rodney King, "Can't we all get along?" :-0 Here's a plan,
0800: golf and drink beer to make me, Puetz and Mogren
happy
1200: pick up our shotguns and more beer and head out
for some out of season pheasant hunting to make
Jeff and Jerry happy
1600: find probably the only karaoke bar in Sioux City
and listen to Jim and Rich's vocal tribute to the
hair bands of the 80's to make Jim and Rich happy
1800: show up at the reunion s***faced, drink more beer
and reminisce incoherently with classmates all the
while really p***ing off our spouses
2300 all crash at Jim's house after our wives kick us
out of the hotel for embarrassing them in public...
oh and drink more beer and come up with a better
plan for the 30th reunion
:-) Lee

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt....and you know with Cherokee Lee in charge, someone's gonna get hurt!

Jim,
It's about the possibility of other familial obligations for that last weekend in July. But I'm trying. Besides Dieger and I have a deal. I'll bring a new can of Skoal, he'll bring a can of Copenhagen and we'll chew that whole damn thing that day. It's been a few years since I've had any chew. Chewing tobacco and beer!! what a combo! Huh, just don't tell my wife....ok :-)

OK. So, sorry to be a bit dim, but guys, did we even go to the same high school? God, I must have been in a coma...

Thanks Jim, this site is really nice!! Now, after all of your hard work putting this together, I hope I get a chance to talk more to all of you.

Chad,

Nice to see you have joined us. When did that lens fall out, I am having a hard time remembering? Live by the throw, die by the throw. How the hell have you been? It was nice to hear from you, even if you were just busting my balls!!

Golf, golf golf... If Tritz is playing I guess it'll be Sun Valley here we come. Is that course still open?

If there are any real men out there, I vote for the Dunes.

03/27/09 12:21 PM #34

Some of us are currently dealing with a recession. I knew I should have stayed out of Law Enforcement. I say Green Valley. Not to mention, a bunch of Heelan (glory days dudes)causing all the wealthy folks at the Dunes to put their homes on the market after the first nine holes!!! You all know that Alby is building a house out there. So, now that I think about it, I think we would fit in just fine out there. After all, they took Alby, I think we would be an upgrade!!

By the way, Curry has been holding out on us. All those Pheseants and no phone calls. What is his bag? We will have to handle that issue at the reunion!! Happy Friday.

Jim Tritz

We won't be able to golf at Green Valley on that Saturday as they will be having their club championship that weekend and right now I don't have the block of tee times they have reserved for that. I think I will add a survey to see who actually is definitely going to play golf.

Jim;
Covington Links, Floyd, or Hidden Acres - doesn't really matter. Lets just get a game in while we are all back home.

Jim,
We'll probably need to play a pretty short course as I remember Lee Jones had a hard time hitting a drive more than 180 yards back then. Now I haven't played with him in while, but by the looks of him in his photos, he probably hasn't seen a gym since we graduated 25 years ago.

Whispering creek is a relatively new course out between the mall and highway 20, just off old Morningside avenue. It's a pretty challenging course and quite a bit pricier than the others but I just wanted to offer it as a choice because it is an 18 hole course. Their website is Whispering Creek. if you want to check it out.

03/29/09 09:11 PM #40

Ritch Dieger

Thanks Jim!

I think there is an 18 hole off of HWY 75. If you you get your final shot in the clown's mouth you get a free round, just a thought. Plus Lee will not have to be that long off of the tee box.
