Reminds Me of the Wrestlers In CYO after school Posted Thursday, July 9, 2009 08:34 AM
I think I remember all of these guys at one time or another in the CYO. Pretty damn funny.

RE: Reminds Me of the Wrestlers In CYO after school Posted Saturday, July 11, 2009 02:24 PM Flash back to the Pine Boys buddy. Which one was Puetz, he pretty much fits the bill for most of these guys? |

RE: Reminds Me of the Wrestlers In CYO after school Posted Sunday, July 12, 2009 07:13 PM Man, this user forum would be awfully lame and boring if not for my lack of athleticisim. From my so called friends: Warden politely suggests an eating contest over a golf game for me, Olsen points out my lack of baseball skills in playing JV as a Junior, and Jones points out my shortcomings in basketball, golf, and my physique. What's left? Who will be the first to talk about what a puss I was in football? Track? Come on....anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Good thing I was so lucky with the ladies...next topic to rip Puetz on. Maybe the good memories of high school that I have are all a dream. Good thing I got better grades than you fucks criticizing me. |

I wouldn't say he sucked at cards....he usually took my money any time we played. Don't fret Pitter, no matter how good we were at anything, there was always someone better. That's why you went to Notre Dame and own your own business and I had a kid and got married a year after high school and am now unemployed and a full time student. I would say that being smarter than the rest of us (naughty words) worked out to your advantage in the long run. See...I'm helping you out in the pity party. That's what buddies do. Puetz was the best man in my wedding 24 years ago and we still talk to each other once a week or so. Our maid of honor....last time we talked to her was a week after the wedding. See ya all in a week and a half or so. |

RE: Reminds Me of the Wrestlers In CYO after school Posted Monday, July 13, 2009 05:50 AM John; "Who loves ya, baby?" Immortal words from our favorite bald detective growing up. Just wondering if Jerry is channeling a little Telly Savales since he must of had an impact on him when it came to career choices? As far as my career choice goes, trace it back to a grade school infatuation with a group I listened to all the time..... Always thought it was the sailor who carried the musical group Village People. If it makes you feel better John, I MAY let you actually beat me in golf in a few weeks..... Olson, on the other hand won't be so lucky, I am going to beat him like a red headed step child!

RE: Reminds Me of the Wrestlers In CYO after school Posted Monday, July 13, 2009 06:32 AM Actually, my post was in jest...I truly enjoy the Puetz sucked at "fill in the blank". The smack talk is what makes this forum interesting. I'm surprised Stabile didn't add the time he beat me 19-1 in wrestling in 8th grade (although I think I remember he needed to pin me for St. Joes to beat Blessed Sacrament to win the dual). In hindsight, this may still be the highlight of my limited athletic career. Also, Olson, I specifically said "got better grades" and not "smarter than", big difference. I know some of the posters here are definitely smarter than me (Jones excluded). |

Just so Lee doesn't think that I only pick on him, John that would actually be "smarter than I am" instead of smarter than me. You can thank Mrs. Vizintos and her diagramming of sentences for my partial OCD with spelling and grammar. Wait!!! I got Puetz on something intellectual...State of Iowa Scholar my ass!!! |

RE: Reminds Me of the Wrestlers In CYO after school Posted Monday, July 13, 2009 08:40 AM Puetz, You had to have gotten a ton of compliments, chicks, etc. that Junior year you played baseball. With you having the same number as some all conference left hander with an un- hittable curve ball had, people must have gotten you confused with me, or something like that. |

RE: Reminds Me of the Wrestlers In CYO after school Posted Monday, July 13, 2009 08:45 AM The story I've told my kids that I told Coach Shanks I wasn't interested in playing varsity unless I could wear #6. He told me that he had a favorite player that he had promised that number to. Had no idea what you had to do to be considered his favorite player. I know you had better luck with the ladies than I did. |

RE: Reminds Me of the Wrestlers In CYO after school Posted Monday, July 13, 2009 08:53 AM Shanks was also the golf coach senior year so we had that special bond, ya know. |
