0800: golf and drink beer to make me, Puetz and Mogren

1200: pick up our shotguns and more beer and head out
for some out of season pheasant hunting to make

1600: find probably the only karaoke bar in Sioux City
and listen to Jim and Rich's vocal tribute to the
hair bands of the 80's to make Jim and Ritch happy
1800: show up at the reunion s***faced, drink more beer
and reminisce incoherently with classmates all the
while really p***ing off our spouses
2300 all crash at Jim's house after our wives kick us
out of the hotel for embarrassing them in public...
oh and drink more beer and come up with a better
plan for the 30th reunion

Lee, I'm not so sure that schedule truly fits in with all the plans that people have....especially me!!!  I don't want your drunk asses stinking up my house all night and I'm pretty sure my wife wouldn't find the humor in it either.  Your plans looks decent, just don't get so drunk that you become "that guy" at the reunion...you know who I'm talking about...the one who gets so drunk and talks too loud and starts punching all the guys and hitting on all the girls and in the end is the only one standing around in their underwear or worse (a.k.a. Frank the Tank in Old School).

Based on Lee's poll question maybe it would make most happy to just order pizza from both El Fredo's and Jerry's.  Buffalo Alice good also. Hard to beat beer and pizza!     Just sayin....

For some reason she is passing on the golf part of the reunion this time around.  For the life of me, I can not figure out why....   BTW, as Jerry so apyly stated in a post not that long ago, my wife is not on this message board - so if I can make it through this reunion withour 67 or so people reminding her of that incident 15 YEARS ago it will in all liklihood save me another 15 Years of hearing my wife tell that story to all of our family and friends.

Looks like Tritz is changing the Friday night get together to meet at his house.  Probably would be cheaper to order a few pizzas and get a couple of kegs of beer.  You know he's a full time student now, so he's watching his pennies (except when he vacations in Hawaii later this month). 

We should push for him to put in a pool before July as it most likely will be hotter than hell. 

Hell, I tried to get Niles to volunteer his acreage for Friday night but he didn't bite on that one....too many miscreants near his homestead I think.

Actually I'm looking at a place for Friday night that will have more things to do other than just sit and drink so don't get your panties in a bunch Puetz...remember the reunion costs don't include Friday night...for that night you're on your own.

I guess it's set....Tritz is hosting a get together on Thursday night at his house for any reunion attendees who will be in Sioux City early.  Please bring an appetizer to share and BYOB.  Party will start around 8:00pm and last until midnight.   If you want, email him and let him know that you'll be there so he can do some planning.

No there is not a Thursday party at my house.  If people want to get together I suggest they meet up at a bar or something but not at my house.

If I remember right Puetz...you did this to me Junior year at the North basketball game and told a few people that I was having a party after the game cuz my parents were out of town....next thing I know there's a hundred people at my house, somebody puked in my shower and a bunch of my mom's do-dads got broken.  You are an instigator and should be severely punished.  I have stories to incriminate you...don't make me open that Pandora's's box.

Don't worry, my "big" brother Al plans on being back in SC that weekend.  He has asked me to personally invite John out to his hotel for a little get together since he missed the one John persuaded me to host at his house while he was out of town 25 years ago.  He says he won't even charge a $1 cover charge for the atmosphere like John did all those years ago to our classmates.

"If you're going to be in Sioux City on Thursday before the reunion, would you rather:

1.  Met at Tritz's house, drink and see how much damage we can do to his house (BTW..what the hell is a Do-Dad???  Some kind of sex toy???)

2.  Met at the bar at Jones' hotel (knowing Lee, probably the cheapest place in town), put our drinks on his room bill, then go to Tritz to see how much damage we can do to his house.

I remember vividly going to the party at Al's place and being really disappointed that when we got there our own classmate, Mr Puetz, was at the door collecting like a $2 or $3 dollar cover because back then that was around one hours wages. (much higher than other parties back then) I just remember talking to Joynt and whoever else was with us and agreeing we would recoup our money by drinking as much of the beer as we could. In fact, I remember having to go outside to throw up in order to go back and drink more! I also remember hearing something the following Monday about Puetz making around $300 bucks from that party. Lee, did you ever get any of that money for cleanup costs? Didn't the cops show up also? Seems like I remember something like that.

On another note:  regarding the pre party at Tritz' house. It looks like under the "Member Functions" tab you can add your class announcement that shows up on the home page. Problem is it has to get past the web coordinator! Maybe it could be cleared by Jim as a joke similar to the earlier Bon Jovi stunt. Might help gain some new sign ons once the word gets out about him hosting a party!

Actually Rich, at the party at Big Al Jones house, we were charging $1 for atmosphere and $1 for beer.  That way we were able to collect $1 from the people who said they were there and weren't going to drink. 

Regarding any profit, after paying my brother to buy the keg for us (and the VIG that went along with that) and cleaning supplies for the next day, I think Lee and I both made ~ $5/each.  It was worth it, because the cops who broke up the party knew Big Al pretty well and really abused Lee.  After Lee told them the party was just a couple of guys playing cards, his response was "does it look like I have FOOL written across my forehead?"

That is too funny!!  See, you do have some memories from 25 years ago! Just needed to jog them loose!   I do remember the "FOOL" across the forehead story. A little vague, but I do remember hearing that story.
