Anything you would do differently if you could go back to your time at Heelan?

Have the attitude I have now! Not care what others thought of me!!!! Not care if I made a fool of myself once in awhile. Not give a darn if I was popular or not. It was exhausting!!! Try out for the Drill Team, try drama class. Oh yeah... know then what I know now.

Graduated with two Associates Degress: General Education and General Studies with Nursing Focus and a Certificate in Licensed Practical Nursing. Goal - Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Been kept busy raising my family. Moved to Conway, Arkansas in 2005 and love the area the mountains are just beautiful!

Favorite Story From your years at Heelan:

I have many memories from Heelan...

The socials and hearing "Stairway to Heaven" always reminds me of them. The football games. Driving through Stone Park after school. Hitting the doughnut shop with Angie Erickson since we had first period free. Cheerleading.

My friends are my greatest memories, Nancy Fergen, JoAnn Girard, Rhonda Myers, and Michael Miller ... I thank you for being there in good times and bad. Without you gals and guy I would have hated High School.

What did you do right after high school?

Went to Iowa Lakes Community College, majoring in Criminal Justice. Instead of my AS I got my MRS. LOL Had children, worked, and learned things the hard way.

What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school?

I planned on going to college and getting my degree in Criminal Justice and becoming a police officer. (Had that planned since grade school).

Wife, mother, and grand-kid spoiling grandma :)

Visit Europe, mostly Ireland.

What would we be surprised to know about you?

At the age of 40 had another child. I have three tattoos and love to ride motorcycles! My husband is 14 years younger than me LOL!

Body Piercings or Tattoos?

Three tattoos: one memorial tattoo in honor of my nephew Shawn Blair; One in reference to my Irish heritage and one (my first one) of dolphins and waves around a ying yang symbol. Plan on eventually getting a memorial tattoo for my mother.

OMG! Starting when? lol President Jimmy Carters children: Amy Carter, Chip Carter, and I had the privilege of dancing with Beau Bridges! However, THE MOST interesting person I have ever met is my Hero and my father Donald O'Brien!!!

Any cool things you've done?

Bought a motorcycle. Was in the Navy and was able to sit in and work on F-14's. (the ones in the movie Top Gun that Maverick flies).
