My earliest memories of Jerry dates back to when we were in our elementary years when our familes got together at various times throughout the years.  The Walkers were actually thought of as part of the Piper clan, (my mother's maiden name, the Copple family and the Zimmermans),  I think that when we were young, we just thouht of Jerry, his brother Dick, and sister, Donna as our cousins, because the Walkers were always included in our get togethers.  Jerry, of course, will always be remembered by his classmates as one of our top athletes and one who was always looked up to and admired for his leadership!  Jerry will be missed!

Sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I know he took a leadership role in numerous class reunions.

My East High brick sets in a favored place in my den.

My condolences to your family. The last time I chatted with him was at the Wilmes Hardware in Indian Hills where he sold me a sophisticated screwdriver that the ends could be exchanged and it went both directions
These are sad times as we learn our classmates have passed.
