Susan Ann Boggs-Williams Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Susan Ann "Suzy" Boggs-Williams of Sanford, North Carolina.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Susan find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

Suzy was born on August 29, 1962 to Kathleen and Gary Boggs. She had a brother Darrell. Her father was a Radio Communicator in the U.S. Navy. The family was living in Athens, Greece when her father died in a car accident at age 27. Her mother moved the children to Sioux City, Iowa, where Suzy went to Hawthorne Elementary School, Leeds Jr. High, and graduated from North High School, Class of 1981. She attended the University of Iowa, then transferred to WITTC and graduated from Nursing School as an LPN.

Suzy and her husband Harold had recently moved to Sanford, NC, and bought a house. Her son Wyatt lived nearby. Suzy owned Cleopatra's Closet (decadent women's wear). Suzy had been experiencing heart / health issues, and she had a pace maker.

Suzy was predeceased by: her parents, Gary Boggs and Kathleen E. Green; and her younger sister Casandra Boggs. She is survived by: her husband Harold Williams of Sanford, NC; her son Wyatt Boggs of Sanford, NC; and her brother Darrell Boggs of Le Mars, Iowa. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

A reception will be held on Thursday, August 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, August 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home, 600 W Main St, Sanford, NC 27332
