Jessica Paff Heidbreder

After graduating from Northwestern University, I returned to Iowa to become a high school band director. For the last 15 years, I have taught band at Johnston High School in suburban Des Moines. After a sabbatical to complete my master's degree at the University of Illinois, I married my husband Will in 2002. We are thrilled to begin the process of expanding our family through international adoption.

Although I only attended North for my final two years of high school, I have very fond memories of my time there. Overall, my high school career was largely defined by the wonderful people I met and the experiences we shared in the NHS band program.
