Have you ever seen the movie, The Birds? Well, last Friday I was talking to Brad Patton on the phone while drinking a beer in the back yard. I set my can of beer down and a bird dropped a bomb missing the can by about an inch. On Monday I was heading to a graduation when low and behold a bird nailed me down the front of my shirt. Thinking the dirty bird attacks were over I went to the graduation and left my sun-roof open on my car and when I returned, another bird dropped me a surprise through my sun-roof on the arm rest in my car! I have been walking around outside looking up and getting jumpy now everytime I see a bird...hopefully, hawks, eagles, cranes and any other larger birds have not joined these blitz attacks on me. So, as a warning, at the reunion only stand by me inside...I fear for anyone standing next to me outside! And if you see me running don't look-up just run for cover!  Ha, ha, ha! What a weekend!  

Damn Matt what ever did you do to piss off the bird population of Sioux City, when you were younger did you go out and shoot them with pellat guns or something and they are now picking thier time for revenge.. you may want to begin carring and umbrella with you from now on. Take care and be careful out there

Birds are nothing complared to bats. We get them every year. Got a great story to tell about Julie, a bat, and me in Alabama. But you'll have to read it on my new spin-off topic . . . . . (you gessed it - Bats).
