After high school graduation, I moved to Utah for a year, then to Los Angeles for two years, back to Utah to attend and graduate from Utah State University where I met my wife (smart move on my part, lapse in judgement on her part), to Las Vegas where I taught high school English and Spanish for three years, and then to Green River, Wyoming to continue teaching for the past ten years. I coached high school wrestling for over fifteen years and loved every moment (including a few state titles)! I have three sons and two daughters and couldn't be any prouder to be their father.
I've only been through Sioux City a couple times since 1989, but I have many great memories of growing up there and living the life of a misguided but well-intentioned adolescent. I hope past friends and acquaintances are all well and thriving. I don't know about the rest of you, but I swear it was only a few, short years ago that we threw our mortar boards into the air.
