In memory of James (Jim) Thomas Rhodes, aka Pops, donations can be made to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.

Jim was a loving father, grandfather, husband and friend to many. He passed away peacefully on November 1, 2023, with loved ones by his side in Lincoln, Nebraska.

He was a proud veteran of the Air Force, and since retiring as a professor at Christian Brothers University, he enjoyed cheering on his favorite sports teams, traveling, and supporting his grandchildren by attending their sporting events and concerts. He will always be remembered for his generosity and candid advice.

Jim is survived by his children, Shannon Carter, Laura Richardson, Christine Tashie, and Steven Rhodes, 11 grandchildren, and his sister Linda Huntsinger.
