Lawrence Ganaway Jr. 37, of Sioux City died Sunday, July 26, 1998, of an accidental drowning.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church, with the Rev. Hепгу C. McGruder officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel

Mr. Ganaway was born Nov. 17, 1960, in Sioux City, the son of Lawrence J. and Lessie V. (Jackson) Ganaway Sr. He graduated from North High School in 1980.

He was employed with Mossberg Sanitation Services in Sioux City. He enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his parents; a brother and his wife, LaVerne G. and Dawn M. of Denver; two sisters and their husbands, Vanessa M. and Ronnie Robinson of Long Beach, Calif., and Shirley and Bud Clifton of Denver; a niece, three nephews, six aunts and five uncles.

Pallbearers will be Ted Tastad, Kevin, Matt, Pat, Michael and Jimmy Johnson.
