Ron L. Mofle  

Ron Mofle, Sr. 68, of Sioux Falls, died Sunday September 19, 2010, after a short battle with cancer, at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.
Ron was born April 27, 1942 in Sioux Falls to Raymond and Delores Mofle. He grew up in Sioux Falls graduating from Cathedral High School in 1960. Upon graduation, Ron entered military service and served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam conflict. During his military career, he served in various places in the United States and overseas in Thule, Greenland and Amsterdam, Holland. He retired from the Air Force in 1980 after 20 years of service.
He was united in marriage with Eileen Pittman in Kansas City in 1962.
After retiring from the military, he worked at the EROS Data Center in Sioux Falls where he was in charge of the computer room. He retired from EROS in 2004 with 24 years of service.
Grateful for having shared his life are his sons, Ronald L. (Stacey) Mofle, Jr. and Sean (Kelli) Mofle, both of San Antonio, TX, and Gregg (Sherry) Mofle of Long Island, NY; his ex-wife, Eileen Beal, of San Antonio, TX; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; his siblings, Pat Mofle of Novato, CA, Roger (Sue) Mofle of Brandon, SD, and Barbara (Tim) Norman of Loomis, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Dawn Marie.
