Denny wrote this poem about the Cathedral Spires and it was printed over again in our yearbooks.

A Hercules perched on the hill...
The strongest of forts,
Hushed and still as the forest
Is the silent sentry.

Shafts of light penetrate the dark...
Flicker...then fade away
On saints' faces within
The silent sentry.

Forever glows the constant flame...
Keeping vigil day and night
O'er that Treasure great
Is the silent sentry.
