Terri K. Coon Holmes, 42, of Charleston departed this life Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, at Thomas Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

She was born Nov. 3, 1961, in Charleston, a daughter of the late Jackie D. Coon Sr. She was preceded also in death by her grandparents, Gladys and Vernon "Bill" Haynes and Harley Coon.

Terri was formerly employed by Yeager Airport and was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include her parents, Paul B. and Mary Lou Cummings Holmes of Charleston; one sister, Vicki L. Edens of Charleston; one brother, Jackie D. Coon of Kenna; grandmother, Orpha P. Coon of Charleston; niece, Jaclyn D. Coon of Morgantown, W.Va.; nephews, J.P. Edens of Charleston, Sgt. Jeremiah L. Coon, USMC, of Jacksonville, N.C.; two great-nephews and one great-niece.
