The race to the White House is in full swing.

Trump has a new position on IVF -      
he wants the government to get totally involved in IVF, even to pay for IVF so there can be more babies.

JD Vance extols Trump for making politics fun. Somehow Vance mistakes Trump's nastiness for a sense of humor. 

   Where were Trump and Vance today?        
   It's Labor Day,            
   sixty-four days 'til Election Day.

  We have a gun-violence crisis in America.          
  Think gun-sense legislation when you vote.        
  Our children and grandchildren deserve better.

 Liz Cheney announced she's voting for Kamala Harris.

Leaving Trump's party apparently is as difficult as it would be for a battered woman to leave with children from an abusive marriage.

 Tonight's the Debate.      
      Is anyone fact checking?    
 Trump is already announcing:      
 "I have won the 2024 election."        
 The media does NOT challenge Trump.       
 There is NO bar for him to clear:          
 "Let Trump be Trump" is cat lady talk.        
 For all the people who don't vote,      
 there are many Americans who do vote
 and some who won't just vote against Trump.      
 They want to vote for a candidate they know,      
 so they want to know more about Kamala Harris.        
 For Kamala Harris the debate is critical;    
 It will be like walking through a hornet's nest.        
 Unlike Trump,   
 Kamala's words will be parsed and scrutinized.      
 Disheartening barely says it...    
 We cannot give in to the idea that  
 a majority of Americans will vote for Trump.        
 We must lean in to elect Kamala;      
 We must work to Get Out The Vote.

The two presidential candidates have never met;
they will meet tonight on the debate stage.        
(Trump refused to concede the election so he did not attend Biden's Inauguration in 2021.)

      the ABC moderators did their job,          
      like some necessary fact-checking:          
      Doctors are not committing infanticide          
      in American delivery rooms.

  Last night we saw what we saw.            
  We're in a tied race.        
  Only one of our candidates is fit to be President.
  It is up to us to elect our 47th President.    

  Today is a day to celebrate the American spirit.      
  We believe in hope.
