Gun violence is a 'public health crisis' in the US.

Banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines would not infringe on personal freedoms or in any way impinge on the Second Amendment.

It is a national embarrassment that we refuse to reckon with gun violence.

It's (past) time for the US Senate to get to work and approve gun legislation the House passed in March.
