Jary was a Lincolnwood girl.  She was a good athlete, an excellent student, and was a member of many student clubs.  You would call her a nice girl, who grew up to be a very nice woman, friend, teacher, wife, mother, grandmother, and someone who could throw a ball real far.

Jary was one of a kind. She was strong willed and determined.  She could do anything most men could do and would always accept the challenge.  Her biggest fear was flying in an airplane.  Yet she traveled as much as she could the last 5 years of her life. She feared flying as much as Cancer.

Jary excelled in golf, tennis, and fitness.  She could work anything electronic, and taught everyone around her how to use an I phone. She was the best at whatever she did. She made movies and videoes, and left her family a documented history of their lives.

After graduating from Niles West, Jary and her true love,  John Baruck went to the University of Illinois.  After dating for awhile, John introduced Jary to his fraternity brother, Jay Rosenberg. In 1968 Jay and Jary were married.  Jay became a plastic surgeon and Jary became a P E. teacher.  In 1974 Jary had her first son, Jordy, followed by son #2, Jeff.

in the years to follow Jary played more golf, more tennis, and worked out at several health clubs.  At one time she was an instructor.  Jary also became the life of the party.  She lived her life to have fun and if she couldn't find fun she made it. The Rosenberg house was the party house for adults, kids, family, and friends.  Everyone knew the Rosenbergs of Riverwoods.  Jary even bought a trampoline.

Although Jary's life was built on fun, she knew she had the cancer gene that leads to her breast cancer.  Jary fought this disease for years with a smile on her face.  She never complained, asked for help, and remained independent until the end. Through her illness and chemo treatments Jary had fun.  She could no longer play sports so she focused on movies, plays and visits with friends and family.  Jary never stopped kissing her grandchildren.

Jary leaves behind 2 sons, 4.5 grandchildren, several friends, and three Lincolnwooders who love her very much. John Baruck, Marcy Siegal, and me.  Now I have no one to split my salad with and meet a Lwoods.
