Robert Gary Horsey

Robert Gary Horsey of Philadelphia, formerly of Smyrna, died of lymphoma Saturday,  Aug. 19, 1995, in Pennsylvania Hospital.  He was 44.

Mr. Horsey was born in Dover, Jan. 11, 1951, the son of Lucille Hurd Horsey of Smyrna and the late Robert G. Horsey.

He was vice-president of Garr Consultants, a subsidiary of Deloitte and Touche in new York since 1991.

Mr. Horsey was a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.  He was an avid collector of antiques.

Besides his father, he is preceeded in death by his brother Randy K. Horsey, in May.

In additon to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Rick D. Horsey of Dover; a sister, Brenda Wright of Smyrna; two long time friends, Richard Harris of Huntington Valley, Pa., and Patricia Mullin of Wilmington.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour prior.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 707 Walker Road, Dover, DE. 19901 or to Asbury United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 330, Smyrna, DE. 19977.
