Lawrence M. Wright, Age 51, an institution and local legend also known as Socco and Buster Brown, died December 6, 2001 at home. 

Mr. Wright was a well-known musician who played at both the Wilmington City Blues Festival and the Riverfront.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Zoe Longenecker-Wright of Wilmington; and brothers and sister, Gordon and Clifford Wright and Darlene Houston, all of Smyrna, DE.

A memorial service will be held 1 pm Monday, December 10 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Philadelphia Pike & Duncan Rd., Wilmington.  Burial will be private.  Friends may call from 5-7 pm on Sunday, December 9 at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Kirkwood HWY. & Duncan Rd.
