Randy Webb - Class Of 1987

SMYRNA, Del. -- Randall Lee "Randy" Webb Sr., 38, of Smyrna died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, due to injuries sustained in a hit-and-run accident in Felton, Del.

Randy was born Jan. 19, 1969, in Sea-ford, the son of James W. and Lucille Hall Webb of Smyrna.

Randy worked for Food Lion in Laurel as a meat cutter and at Sam's Club in Dover. He was a former member and crew leader of the Hartley Fire Company, where he earned several awards for saving the lives of others. He was a good Samaritan, always helping people stranded on the side of the road, an avid outdoorsman and animal lover.

He is survived by two children, Ashley Pearl Webb and Randy Lee Webb Jr.; his parents, James and Lucille Webb of Smyrna; and his fiancée, Tracey DiRusso and her two children, Nicole and Becky DiRusso of Hebron, where he had resided for the last two years.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 South Main St. in Smyrna, where friends may call Thurs-day from 6 to 9 p.m.. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna.
